Banana Peanut Chocolate Smoothie

Smoothie is one of my favorite breakfasts and a super delicious dessert. This banana-peanut-chocolate smoothie is probably more in the dessert category than in the breakfast category. It is delicious, creamy, decadent, rich, flavorful, AND healthy. So chocolate lovers, I have good news for you! This is actually a secretly healthy chocolate dessert that is all natural AND delicious. It has only three (3) ingredients and is ready in 5 min. There is no added sugar, and it is gluten-free. What better dessert can there be? Tell me in the comments if you know a better dessert!

As I said, there are only three ingredients in this smoothie. The peanuts add a creamy texture and rich flavor, while making the smoothie more of a dessert than a breakfast item. You could substitute walnuts or other nuts for the peanuts if you have peanut allergy. Walnuts are a good substitution because the blend out easily, but if you have a good quality blender, I am sure you could also use almonds or hazelnuts. Hazelnuts would be really nice because they deepen the chocolaty flavor. Then there are the bananas. They add a full-bodied sweetness you cannot achieve with sugar, while keeping the smoothie all natural. And the most important thing -- the chocolate. You can choose between carob and cocoa powder to flavor the smoothie. Carob does not contain caffeine, but you may wish to use cocoa instead -- the choice is yours! I just used water for the liquid, as it will in reality be nut milk when blended together with the peanuts.
So the only thing you need to do is to cream everything up in the blender! It is wise to blend the nuts first, as it is easier to blend them smooth when the bananas are not in the way.  And then the bananas do not melt. When your nuts are chopped pretty well, add the bananas and chocolate and blend! Pour the finished smoothie in glasses, decorate with banana slices and peanuts if you wish, and enjoy a healthy chocolate dessert! Again, tell me in the comments if there is a better dessert...
